Intern to CSOC Engineer
A short timeline: an internship at Adobe in 2025, a CSOC internship at Thales in January 2026, and the engineer role from August.
A short record of where the work has happened so far. The details are the facts; the story is still to be written.
May to July 2025: Adobe
Intern on the CEDX team in Noida. The work was a prototype support assistant that answers questions from more than 5,000 documentation pages and community posts, using retrieval (RAG). That meant building browser-automation scrapers and an ingestion pipeline to collect and index the content, so common questions could be answered before they became support tickets. The internship included Alchemy 2025, Adobe India’s summit for its interns.
January 2026: Thales, as an intern
Joined the cyber security operations centre (CSOC) at Thales Group in Noida, in the Security & Cloud Systems team.
August 2026: CSOC Engineer
Promoted to CSOC Engineer, seven months after starting as an intern. The role covers two kinds of work:
- Building and maintaining the team’s internal Vulnerability Management Tool, on Node.js, PostgreSQL, React, Tailwind CSS and Docker. It scans across the asset inventory, which syncs on a schedule from Lansweeper, and links each finding to the assets it affects. The scanner is built on plugins, so each vendor or operating system gets its own parsing rules.
- Investigating security events, working with telemetry from AWS, Azure, Wazuh and endpoint security tools for incident response and vulnerability management.
Alongside
- B.Tech in Computer Science and Engineering at IMS Engineering College, Ghaziabad, 2022 to 2026.
- Ark, a Git-style version control system in C++. Its first commit is dated 4 September 2025.
- Axiom, a hobby x86 kernel, logged in the devlog channel.
